
Festivals, Venues and More Supported Through Australia’s Revive Live Program
The Ticketing Business (11/24/25) Spurway, Genevieve Nearly 60 music festivals and 46 live music venues will receive financial support from the Australian government’s Revive Live program. Administered by the Department of Infrastructure, Transport, Regional Development, Communications, Sport and the Arts, the grants support original Australian live music via the backing of venues, festivals and performance organizations. These grants will help pay for everything from infrastructure upgrades to new equipment to programming and promotion expenses. Among the festival recipients are Ability Fest in Victoria and Tasmania's Party in the Paddock. In addition, venues such as The Cave Inn in Queensland and Freo Social in Western Australia are set to receive funding for infrastructure upgrades, equipment costs and general production expenses. Minister for the Arts Tony Burke comments, "We understand the challenges contributing to cancellations and closures in the live music scene.
