Willie Nelson’s Outlaw Music Festival Returns for 2026 to a Scaled-Back 12 Cities

Variety (03/24/26) Willman, Chris Willie Nelson's Outlaw Music Festival will return for an 11th anniversary tour this summer. However, this tour is happening at about a third of the number of cities that 2025's outing did, with just 12 locales on the itinerary. Last year, the tally was 35 stops. Stephen Wilson Jr. has agreed to perform at 11 of the 12 shows, while the Avett Brothers are booked in nine cities and Sheryl Crow will appear for six concerts. Other artists joining the festival for shows along the way include Sierra Hull, Margo Price, Don Was and Wilco. For Nelson's traditional 4th of July Picnic in August, Rodney Crowell and Billy Strings have agreed to perform. Read the full story from  Variety .
