CNBC News (06/05/26) Gomez, Brandon Broadway just completed its highest-grossing season of all time, offering further proof that the paying public is willing to spend on experiences even as worries about inflation and the economy linger. According to industry data from The Broadway League, the 2025-26 show season topped the previous year's record, registering almost $1.91 billion in ticket sales. Adjusting for the extra week that was included in the prior season, Broadway grosses this past year increased 3.5%, while attendance rose 1.8% and average ticket prices were up 1.7%.
