Dallas Stars Choose Plano for New Arena, Entertainment District

Fox 4 DFW (KDFW) (06/02/26) Freemon, Carter; Jones, Amelia The Dallas Stars have agreed to construct a new arena and entertainment district in Plano, Texas, to be located at The Shops at Willow Bend site. Plano had previously submitted a letter of intent to the NHL hockey team back in February to build a $1 billion arena at the mall site. It should be noted that the Stars are the second Dallas-based professional sports franchise to exit downtown in as many weeks.
