FIFA Men’s World Cup: Lumen Field Transforming Into Seattle Stadium

Seattle Times (05/22/26) Schwarzwalder, Sofia Seattle's Lumen Field is being rebranded for the World Cup soccer tournament and will be known as "Seattle Stadium." FIFA's exclusive use period started on May 17 and will run through the end of the World Cup. The 68,000-seat venue is set to host a half-dozen games between June 15 and July 6. The tournament ends July 19. All of the 16 stadiums throughout the United States, Canada and Mexico are being neutrally renamed for the World Cup. SoFi Stadium will transform into Los Angeles Stadium, for instance, while Arrowhead Stadium will be Kansas City Stadium and so on.
