ABC News (06/14/26) Pereira, Ivan; Katersky, Aaron; Hutchinson, Bill The New York Knicks beat the San Antonio Spurs 94-90 in Game 5 of the NBA Finals on Saturday, June 13, winning their first NBA championship in 53 years. Knicks guard Jalen Brunson led his team with 45 points in the game, capping an extraordinary run throughout the postseason that culminated with him being named Finals MVP.
