
Spotify’s Reserved Ticket Sales to Music Superfans Are Now Going Live
TechCrunch (06/18/26) Perez, Sarah Spotify recently announced the launch of its new "Reserved by Spotify" system, which will identify eligible top fans of an artist, then hold two tour tickets for them prior to the opening of the general ticket sale. The feature is currently available in the United States for Premium subscribers 18 and older. Timed alongside his tour news, Role Model has agreed to be the first artist partner to take advantage of the ticket-holding system. Fans began receiving notifications on June 18 if they are eligible to secure their tour tickets beginning on June 23, before the general public sale. The streaming giant will not collect any fees on the transactions. For now, the feature is only available for artists playing at Live Nation concerts.
