Atlético Agrees 10-Year Concert Deal With Live Nation

The Stadium Business (07/03/27) Rial, Bradley Spanish professional football club Atlético de Madrid and Live Nation España have inked a long-term deal to host concerts and events at the Riyadh Air Metropolitano and the club’s new Ciudad del Deporte complex. The agreement, which seeks to cement the Metropolitano as one of Europe’s "premier concert venues," will allow ticket purchases for such events to be made via the stadium’s website. Since opening nine years ago, the stadium has staged several concerts featuring such performers as Bruno Mars, BTS, Ed Sheeran and The Rolling Stones. The accord with Live Nation will have an initial duration of a decade and will include an option to extend. It will see between 15 and 20 summer concerts taking place at the Metropolitano annually.
