Celine Dion Overcomes Rare Neurological Disorder to Perform First Concert in Six Years

CBS News (09/13/26) This past Saturday, pop music legend Celine Dion returned to the stage after years of battling a rare neurological disorder with a sold-out concert in Paris. It was the 58-year-old French Canadian soloist's first full concert in six years. She performed for a crowd of approximately 30,000 fans, including former First Lady Michelle Obama. The venue was the Plenitude Arena on the western edge of the city. For Dion, it was the culmination of a remarkable comeback after being diagnosed with stiff-person syndrome, an incurable condition that causes stiffness and cramps.
